Tecno is a leading smartphone brand in Africa, Asia and Latin America, known for its affordable and innovative devices. In 2023, Tecno is set to launch several new models that will cater to different needs and preferences of its customers. Here is a list of the upcoming Tecno 2023 phones, their release dates, their main features, their price range and how they compare to other brands.


- Tecno Spark 9: The Spark series is designed for young and trendy users who want a stylish and powerful phone. The Spark 9 will be released in January 2023, and it will feature a 6.8-inch HD+ display, a quad rear camera with a 48MP main lens, a 16MP selfie camera, a 5000mAh battery and a MediaTek Helio G70 processor. The Spark 9 will run on Android 12 and HiOS 8.0, Tecno's custom user interface. The Spark 9 will cost between N50,000 and N60,000, depending on the storage option. The Spark 9 is comparable to the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 in terms of specifications and price, but it has a larger battery and a more colorful design.




- Tecno Camon 18: The Camon series is focused on photography and videography, offering high-quality cameras and advanced features. The Camon 18 will be released in March 2023, and it will feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ display, a triple rear camera with a 64MP main lens, a 32MP selfie camera, a 4500mAh battery and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor. The Camon 18 will run on Android 12 and HiOS 8.0, and it will support 4K video recording, night mode, portrait mode and AI scene detection. The Camon 18 will cost between N80,000 and N90,000, depending on the storage option. The Camon 18 is similar to the Samsung Galaxy A52 in terms of camera performance and features, but it has a lower price and a faster processor.

- Tecno Phantom X2: The Phantom series is the flagship line of Tecno, offering premium performance and design. The Phantom X2 will be released in May 2023, and it will feature a 6.9-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a quad rear camera with a 108MP main lens, a dual selfie camera with a 44MP main lens, a 6000mAh battery and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. The Phantom X2 will run on Android 12 and HiOS 8.0, and it will support wireless charging, fast charging, fingerprint sensor, face unlock and NFC. The Phantom X2 will cost between N150,000 and N170,000, depending on the storage option. The Phantom X2 is one of the most innovative phones of Tecno, featuring the world's first retractable zoom lens that can achieve up to 10x optical zoom. It is also one of the most expensive phones of Tecno, competing with the likes of Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max and Huawei Mate X Fold.
