How to update your HiOS


Tecnos HiOS is designed to provide a smooth, fast and secure user experience for our customers. It is based on Android, but with many enhancements and customizations that make it unique and optimized for Tecnos devices.


Updating your Tecnos HiOS is easy and convenient. You can check for updates from the settings menu or the smart panel. You can also enable automatic updates to receive the latest features and improvements as soon as they are available.


To update your Tecnos HiOS manually, follow these steps:


  1. - Go to the settings menu and tap on System.
  2. - Tap on System update and check for updates.
  3. - If there is an update available, tap on Download and install.
  4. - Wait for the download and installation to complete.
  5. - Restart your device and enjoy the new Tecnos HiOS.


To enable automatic updates, follow these steps:


  1. - Go to the settings menu and tap on System.
  2. - Tap on System update and tap on the three dots icon in the top right corner.
  3. - Tap on Auto-download over Wi-Fi and toggle it on.
  4. - You can also tap on Auto-install updates at night and toggle it on if you want the updates to be installed automatically when your device is idle at night.
